The coastal provinces of Guanacaste and Puntarenas have the highest square metre prices in the country.

Beach front or white water ocean view condominiums sell for average prices ranging from $250 to $400 a square foot ($2500 to $4000 per meter).

Condominiums located a short distance from the beach with limited amenities are priced in ranges from $100 to $250 per square foot ($1000 to $2,500 per square meter).

Ocean view parcels (farms-acreage) range from $15 to $90 per square meter depending on size

Non-ocean view parcels (farms-acreage) range from $7 to $45 per square meter.

Excellent on rental yields of 8.0% in the capital (San Jose) where the areas of Escazu and Santa Ana are preffered by foreign residents so ROI on rental condos enjoy excellent average.
